Martinis & Mistletoe

The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce hosted a Christmas Bash called Martinis and Mistletoe. Let's find the best martini in town and throw a great party in the process. Held at the new Carlyle Club it was quite the event.

Thirteen bars and Martini Extraordinaire Roger Parks all were present for the event. Each bar featured it's own killer martini in the hopes of being named best Martini in Alexandria.

As always our motto is anything worth doing is worth overdoing. So not content to just have a martini bar, we had to add the disco ball and the Ice Luge. After the martini was made it was poured through the luge by our luge girl for an instant chilling.

Andres finished in the money with his creation of the Havana Banana Split Chocolate Martini (using Godiva Chocolate and Stoli Vanilla) Winning 3rd place for the evening.

Congratulations to Restaurant Eve on winning the bragging rights as the best Martini - The Kissing Santa.

Staff Christmas Party

As always the staff Christmas party is a blast. It was a little quieter this year as Ramparts and Simply Fish is no longer part of the family. Although we were graced with the presence of Joannie and Linda Farmer from Ramparts.
